According to the report from the Pioneer Press, many who supported Seng Xiong financially demanded their money back from the more than $1.2 million sitting at the US Dept. of Justice. Seng Xiong, who was convicted on wired fraud charges last year, is currently serving time in federal prison.  Many of Seng’s followers gave anywhere from $2,000 to $5,000.  Now they wanted their money back not to put in their bank account but to continue the same cause which is to find a Hmong state in Asia.
