Padee Yang has a Master's Degree in social work from the University of Minnesota. She began her contribution to Hmong Broadcasting Company (HBC) in 2010 as the original host of the show Xav Paub Xav Pom. She named the show Xav Paub Xav Pom in hopes to deliver truth and happenings within the Hmong community and most importantly as a way to inform the community on current events. Padee truly believes media can inspire young generations and empower girls and women in addressing cultural issues and finding their voices.
