Hmong Committee 100 Event | Celebration of Election Victory for Hmong Candidates in Minnesota - 3HMONGTV

3HMONGTV NEWS (01/08/2025) – Organizers of Hmong Committee of 100, a non-partisan, 501(c) (4) organization, say about 300 people attended its first luncheon event for 2025 on Tuesday, January 7th. This year they are celebrating the election victory of elected officials of Hmong descent from school board to city council members and lawmakers in Minnesota and neighboring Wisconsin. The event focuses on the past, presence and future of Hmong Americans as 2025 marks the 50th year of Southeast Asians immigrated to the US. The conversation is about reflection and the current state of Hmong Americans, not just in Minnesota, but across the nation. Although, Hmong people have come a long way however they are still lacking in many areas such as economic prosperity, education, and health care.
