3HMONGTV NEWS (02/19/2023) – About 300 people rally in front of St. Paul Western District PD seeking justice for Yia Xiong who was shot by Police on February 11 inside his apartment. The incident occurred when someone called 911 to report that someone is threatening people with a knife. Police arrived at the Winslow Commons apartment and confronted 65 year old Yia Xiong. Yia Xiong was fatally shot after ignoring Police commands to drop a large knife according to reports. Days later, St. Paul PD released the bodycam footage of the shooting.
