3HMONGTV NEWS (03/6/2020) – Congresswoman Betty McCollum meets with Hmong American constituents to talk about a bill she introduced called H.R.6034 – Hmong & Lao Refugee Deportation Prohibition Act of 2020.  The bill basically will give the current administration 72 months to fix the 1996 immigration law to not deport Hmong & Lao residents back to Laos. Sia Her from the Council on Asian Pacific Minnesotans says her agency is standing by and ready to assist. Brooklyn Park Councilwoman Susan Kaying Pha adds that the deportation is real and urges Hmong community leaders to work together in support of this bill.
