3HMONGTV NEWS (04/07/2023) – Shane Hudella, a retired Army 1st Sergeant and proud owner of United Heroes League based in Hasting, Minnesota, understands the sacrifices the Hmong SGU veterans have made in the Secret War in Laos. A group of Hmong veterans were invited to meet with Shane at the monument on April 6, 2023 to learn more about the organization. Shane says he knew about the sacrifices many Hmong veterans have made protecting America’s interest in Southeast Asia. To honor their sacrifices and bravery, 72 bricks were given to Hmong soldiers to have their name and rank inscribed on them to be placed at the monument. Shane says more bricks can be added if needed. These bricks are to be completed by the end of April in time for Memorial Day on May 29th.
