SPORTS AUTHORITY TO PRESENT GRANT TO HMONG WAUSAU FESTIVAL FOR 2018 EVENT

WAUSAU, WI (May 17, 2018) – The Wausau/Central Wisconsin Sports Authority invites you to join us as we present a generous grant to the American Hmong Mutual Association to assist with funding of the second annual Hmong Wausau Festival which showcases Hmong culture and unifies multiple generations.

The inaugural event held in July of 2017 at Eastbay Sports Complex, successfully attracted over 8,000 festival participants to Wausau, making it the 3rd largest Hmong Festival in the state of Wisconsin. The event will again include sports, competitions, performances, and vendors offering Hmong food, clothing, and a variety of other items. New for 2018, the Hmong Wausau Festival will be the first in the state to offer Saturday night music and entertainment. The 2nd annual Hmong Wausau Festival will be held on July 28 & 29, 2018.
