3HMONGTV NEWS (05/22/2018) – Sen. Foung Hawj was invited to speak at a celebration of new Americans at Harding High School. Fifty people received their US citizenship certificate after taking the oath. They represent 26 countries and Laos is one of them. Sen. Hawj says the Eastside is a diverse community with people of many nationalities and it is fitting to hold the ceremony at Harding High School. He also encourages these new Americans to exercise their voting rights and even to run for public office such as himself
