3HMONGTV News (05/24/2023) – At the St. Paul Public School board meeting on Thursday, May 23, 2023, during public comments, parents and teachers say their complaints were ignored by the board to address leadership issue at the Hmong Language and Culture Middle School. Sue Vang, a former St. Paul Public School employee and parent, says she’s disappointed that the board, specifically Superintendent Dr. Joe Gothard, did not want to meet with them despite numerous requests. She made it clear at the meeting that the board respond by Friday, May 26, 2023. A plan has been in place to remove students from the school if they did not hear from the board.
