3HMONGTV News (05/25/2023) – Today the MN Dept. of Public Safety division of Driver and Vehicle Services held a press conference on the launch of a new AI virtual assistant on their website in three languages, Hmong, Somalia, and Spanish. Pong Xiong, Director of Driver and Vehicle Services, says the new tool will enable Minnesota residents who speak these languages more effectively when it comes to locating online services. The tools allows residents to look up services on the DVS website in their native language making it more accessible. They encourage people in these communities to go online and use the new tool. Pong says Minnesota is probably the first in the country to implement such technology.

The virtual assistant is now available at the website at drive.mn.gov. Click on “Help” on the lower right hand corner and a box will come up with the different language options.
