3HMONGTV Organic Living with Mhonpaj Lee.  Mhonpaj takes us on location to learn more about the Hmong garden at the Minnesota Arboretum. This summer, the Minnesota Arboretum and University of Minnesota teamed up with Zongxee Lee, an herb naturalist, to showcase a garden planted with a wide variety of Hmong herbs that are used for medicinal purposes. The herbs are used in chicken soup for Hmong women after having babies. The University of Minnesota has studied these plants and found evidence of medicinal value in them. The garden will be open to the public some time in late June or early July. Contact the Minnesota Arboretum for more information.
