3HMONGTV NEWS (08/10/2023) – Members of the Justice for Yia Xiong Coalition are still demanding that the two officers involved be charged in the killing of a Hmong man in St. Paul earlier this year. A rally is scheduled for Friday, August 11th, from 6-9PM at the St. Paul Police Department on Hamline Ave. N. Snowdon Herr from the coalition is urging community members to participate in the rally and says this could happen to your parents or grandparents.

A bigger rally is expected to happen on August 20th which will involve members of the Black Lives Matter. Participants in the rally will walk from Hamline Avenue to the State Capitol. Parts of University Avenue will be blocked to make ways as protesters march to the Capitol.
