Hmong New Year is celebrated each year in the United States and around the world. This year the Hmong community in Oklahoma will be celebrating it’s new year in a new location owned by Hmong business owners. This will be the first time in Oklahoma Hmong New Year celebration history to be held in a Hmong-owned land. The New Year celebration will be on October 29th & 30th. The New Year committee is led by May Vang. There will be sports competition and many others including beauty pageant, vocal and dance contests. The event is open to the public and everyone is invited.
