Tougeu Leepalao has worked with Hmong Cultural Center since the early 90s. He was one of the founding members of the center. He wrote books on Hmong funeral and wedding rituals and also taught while working at the center. Many of his students became qeej (keng) players and successful leaders in the Hmong community. Tougeu Leepalao never hesitates to share his vast experience in Hmong culture to anyone who wants to learn. Even though he’s no longer with us, Tougeu’s words of wisdom and knowledge will not be forgotten. We thank you for his service to the Hmong Cultural Center of Minnesota.
