Breaking News: The body of comedian and activist Tou Ger Xiong found in Colombia

3HMONGTV Newsbrief (12/12/2023) – Police in Colombia discovered the body of Tou Ger Xiong, a Hmong comedian and activist. Tou Ger was vacationing in Colombia and on December 10th, he was kidnapped according to his family. Sources say he had connection with a female on social and then traveled to Colombia to meet her. He was then kidnapped and no one knew his whereabouts. The kidnappers later demanded a ransom for his release. Today we’ve learned of the tragic news.

Tou Ger Xiong was a Hmong comedian and activist who has led many rallies for social justice. He will be missed by many in the Hmong community.
